This Guideline of Pet Order shall be applied to our Pet Order Service, and shall be deemed a part of our Terms and Conditions. Any terms capitalized but not otherwise defined herein shall have the same meaning set forth in our Terms and Conditions.
1. Only a Participating Provider who is accepting requests for transport and logistics services through the “transport partner” platform of the App (the “Eligible Participating Provider”) can provide transportation service for pet(s) and/or animal(s) . An Eligible Participating Provider does not include Participating Providers who are on the “delivery partner” platform of the App.
2. Eligible Participating Provider will provide transportation only. The Customer must accompany the pet(s) and/or animal(s) throughout the transportation, and shall have the sole responsibility of the care, control, supervision and delivery of pet(s) and/or animal(s). The Customer shall ensure that the pet(s) and/ or animal(s) do not cause any disturbance or harm to the Eligible Participating Provider or to the driving safety during transportation. If, during transportation, the pet(s) and/ or animal(s) behave in a manner affecting the driving safety, the Eligible Participating Provider shall have the right to discontinue transportation service.
3. Unless otherwise agreed between the Customer and the Eligible Participating Provider, during transportation, the pet(s) and/or animal(s) shall, at all times, either be (a) carried by the Customer or restrained with a leash and/or harness in the middle row compartment of the vehicle; (b) placed in a crate or carrier in the middle row compartment; or (c) if the crate or carrier does not fit in the middle row compartment, it shall be placed in the cargo compartment. The Eligible Participating Provider shall provide tools (e.g. tightening strap) to secure the crate or carrier in the cargo compartment. For the avoidance of doubt, the placement arrangements mentioned in this paragraph shall not be applicable to guide dogs accompanying a person with physical disability.
4. The Customer is responsible for any damage to property, injury to individuals, or to other animals caused by its pets and/or animals while being transported. The Customer shall indemnify and hold us and the Eligible Participating Provider harmless from any claim or loss resulting from such damage and/or injury. If the pet(s) and/or animal(s) leave any urine, waste, feces, vomit or damage the vehicle, a reasonable cleaning fee may be charged for such cleaning and damages if the Customer is unable to rectify the damages to the reasonable satisfaction of the Eligible Participating Provider.
